Joy To the Boreal" was honoured to be juried in to the "Is This Real Life?" show at the Art Gallery of Sudbury in spring 2022.

"Joy To the Boreal" was further greatly honoured to be juried in to the Ontario Society of Artists show: Breath. Heart. Spirit. Souffle. Coeur. Esprit. and shown in the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite, Queen’s Park Ontario as part of the Ontario Society of Artists Final 150th Anniversary Show (see photo). This show was on display at the Governor General's Suites from September 2022 until September 2023.

"Joy To the Boreal" is part of the artist's "Joy To the World" Series. The series is inspired by the idea that people should take time from our busy pressured and stressful lives and find the joy and awe that a baby has when discovering the world for the first time. In this case the baby is discovering the joy and wonder of the Boreal Forest. Joy derives from the many animals, insects, and even the symbolic Northern Lights, Big Dipper and the North Star.

"Joy To the Boreal" has taken an amazing journey since 2022!
