The artist's story about Winter Landscape:

"Is there a story with this one? The moose skull was given to me by an Indigenous man who sent it home from work with my husband. For years it sat either outside or inside my studio but I knew I would one day use it in paintings because I have always had a fascination with painting animal skulls and bones. (I painted found cow skulls when I lived in the Interior of B.C. Skulls that I found on my daily walks with the dogs and an artist friend. I like the form.)"
